* All fishing equipment, tackle, linens and meals are provided as a part of your all inclusive package.
* The vessels of Blue Moon Expeditions are "non smoking" vessels. Due to safety hazards, clients are not permitted to smoke while on board any of the Blue Moon vessels.
What if I can’t decide which fishing expedition is best for me?
With so many great options, we understand it might be difficult to decide which expedition best suits you. Send us a note and one of our captains will get back in touch with you as soon as possible to discuss an expedition that works best for you.
I am not an experienced angler. Will I still be able to get the most out of this experience?
Our experienced captains and guides cannot wait to provide you with the fishing experience of a lifetime. We provide all of the equipment and tackle you will need along with the one-on-one teaching to make your trip successful and memorable.
I am an experienced fisherman looking for a new experience and greater angling challenges. How do I know if one of your expeditions is a good investment for me?
There is truly no other place in the U.S. where you can experience what Blue Moon Expeditions has to offer. Our Mothership is designed to carry anglers of all experience levels to the most untouched waters and serves as a “home base” and an all inclusive experience for our valued guests. Each expedition we book is unique in that it is designed and planned specifically towards your interests.
What if I want to do more than just fish?
Each expedition is designed and planned specifically toward your interests and needs. Book an eco-expedition to kayak, snorkel or dive your way through the most pristine and untouched waters of the Keys. Book a fishing expedition to experience the widest variety of angling adventures the U.S. has to offer. Book a combination expedition to fully experience everything the Florida Keys have to offer.
Cancellation & Booking Policies
Should you need to cancel your reservation, you will get a full refund if you notify us at least 60 days prior to the date of your arrival. Should you have to cancel within 60 days of your arrival, no refund will be made.
Note: If you do not show up for your expedition, or if you interrupt or cancel your expedition once it has begun, no refund will be made.
Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. strives to make our expeditions an enjoyable and memorable experience; as such, the captain and Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time due to bad weather, mechanical failure, safety, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from fishing. It is the client's responsibility to check with the captain the day before the trip departure, after 2 pm. EDT, by calling ph. 305-849-8254. In the event of cancellation, Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. will not be held liable for any travel, hotel, or other consequential costs by the client.
In the event of bad weather, or any other unforeseen event, Blue Moon Expeditions reserves the right to arrange meals and lodging at a local hotel in lieu of meals and lodging on the mothership. While this is a rare event, weather sometimes forces Blue Moon Expeditions to cancel mothership operations, in substitute for land based charters.
Persons that fail to arrive for their reserved expedition will not be entitled to a refund.
Payment & Booking
A deposit is required to book an all-inclusive expedition or charter. A reservation is not guaranteed until a deposit is received. The remaining balance is due in full 30 days prior to the date of your expedition. Upon receipt of the customer's deposit, a confirmation email will be generated. All deposits, sales, and purchases are final. In the event of mechanical failure or any other unforeseen circumstances before departure, Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. will refund the deposit or payment in full. The client will also have the option of re-booking a trip at a later date. In the event that Blue Moon Expeditions cancels due to bad weather, Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. will offer to reschedule the expedition, or a full refund will be issued. Should the client cancel within 2 months of the scheduled charter or expedition, no refund will be issued, however, Blue Moon Expeditions will offer to reschedule the charter / expedition within 12 months.
No refunds will be given if a trip is cut short due to illegal, violent or belligerent behavior on behalf of the client.
If a trip underway is cut short because of mechanical failure or other unforeseen circumstances, with the exclusion of bad weather, that prevents us from fishing, Blue Moon Expeditions will arrange meals and lodging locally, and will provide land based charters.
Prices are subject to change. Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. reserves the right to adjust trip prices due to a substantial increase in fuel price if the trip was booked more than 6 months in advance.
Our captains are highly experienced and professional. Blue Moon Expeditions Inc. reserves the right to change captain assignments at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. In such case, there will be no refund if a captain re-assignment is deemed necessary.
If a captain discovers illegal drugs on board during the voyage, the trip will be terminated immediately, and the United States Coast Guard and other appropriate authorities will be notified immediately. No refunds will be granted.
