Fishing was great this past weekend. The full moon brought strong tides throughout the Florida Keys, and the worm hatch went off at Bahia Honda Bridge with thousands of huge tarpon sipping on worms.
Up in the Everglades the fishing along the gulf beaches was epic. There were some monsters cruising through. We fished with soft plastic flukes rigged weed less, allowing us to put the baits down deep where the fish were hiding.
This week is set to be windy, but the fishing will remain excellent for the next few months.
